Hi!

My name is Cora Williams and I am a WRM Midwife, Reiki Practitioner, Massage Therapist and Placenta Specialist . My favorite things in the world are the beach (hence the mermaid name), my 4 amazing  kids, helping women during labor and delivering beautiful babies.

 

 I have attended the births of many of my younger siblings. When I started assisting a local Midwife, a real desire to support women during pregnancy, labor and postpartum, started to bud.I became a doula for WRM back in 2013. I have attended over 100 doula supporting births. I started my journey into midwifery back in 2014. I have now attended over 150-200 births as a midwife myself.

When I had my first baby, I experienced a 36 hour natural labor and water birth. I really came to appreciate how wonderful having support during the process helped and gave me the confidence I needed to be a new mother. Now I have 4 amazing children, each one was born at home. My last delivery was  my hardest because he was a surprise breech birth.

I am a firm believer in creating a positive birth space WHEREVER you chose to birth your baby.

 

I work hard to make sure everyone involved in your birth is a positive force behind you the entire way. I believe that every family deserves someone who is helpful and knowledgeable about the beauty of birth.
